History
 The history of Woodbridge Holdings’ predecessor has roots reaching back over three decades. Woodbridge Holdings, through its predecessors, was formed in 1982 as a subsidiary of one of Florida’s largest headquartered banks, BankAtlantic, and went on to make various investments from the 1990s, including the acquisitions of Core Communities, the formation of Cypress Creek Capital, the investment in Bluegreen Corporation, and its organization of Snapper Creek Equity Management.
Woodbridge Holdings, LLC has pursued acquisitions and investments opportunistically, historically and primarily in real estate and, most recently, in diverse operating businesses.
As of September, 2009 Woodbridge Holdings, LLC is no longer publicly traded, instead it is a wholly owned subsidiary of BFC Financial Corporation, a public company for more than 30 years.
